7600 m² of premises
Paker was born from the absolute certainty that the cleverness of the mechanization is essential for cardboard packaging. Flexibility, ergonomics and an intelligent packaging concept are the fundamental roots of PAKER’s DNA.
Half of PAKER’s wrapping machines are for fresh dairy products. Our expertise in this market dates back to 1986.
Wrapping and plastic clips for this first machine. From this date onwards, PAKER has developed applications for beer, wine, water, cider, soft drinks, fruit juices… Both in glass and plastic bottles, as well as cans.
The Paker team moved to Gellainville, still within the Chartres region, into a new building that matched the scale of the company’s development.
Paker continued innovating with its Z-Pack machine, which allowed packs of 1 or 2 layers for individual cups. This machine received the Oscar of Packaging awards!
To respond to the sustained growth of this market over the last 20 years, Paker entered into the ready meals market.
The production capacity at the Gellainville site was doubled to meet growing demand, particularly in the market of fresh dairy products.
In 2004, PAKER developed ancillary equipment such as aplicator for sachets, straws, leaflets etc.
In 2006, PAKER developed new high-speed solutions, most notably its Baby Food Multipacker machine with 300 packs/min.
In 2009, PAKER proposed a new twin-machine capable of handling 400 packs/min.
To increase format flexibility, PAKER integrates robots.
In 2011, PAKER developed its clip aplication machine on bottles in plastic crates. A traditional format in Belgium.
In 2014, PAKER developed the Strong Pack to improve the tightening and resistance of the pack.
In 2015, PAKER developed its first range of multipackers + boxing machines for PET bottles.
In 2015, PAKER developed its can multipacker with a rate of 90,000 boxes/h. A flexible machine for “regular”, “sleek” and “slim” cans with a high packing rate.
In 2016, PAKER developed its high capacity cardboard magazine to meet requirements for autonomy and ergonomics in very high-speed production lines, particularly in breweries.
In 2018, PAKER developed a product orientation machine to ensure perfect primary packaging positioning in cardboard cut-outs.
The PAKER GROUP is located at Fontenay-sur-Eure, near Chartres. The 7,600 m² workshop and offices will allow us to continue developing our range of products and services. The marks the beginning of a new phase in the company’s development.
Whatever the market : ready meals, dairy, plant based, canned foods, etc. the food producers must be able to adapt their production to the demand.
PAKER continuous motion overwrappers can be complemented with a robotic product infeed. This enables a great number of configurations.
FLEURY MICHON Values the Versatility of The Paker Solutions
One of the latest line installed for FLEURY MICHON can overwrap ready meals packaged in rectangular trays or in round glass jars, in x1, 1×2, or 1 over 1. The overwrap is formed from a flat carton.
The product infeed configuration is managed by the Delta type robots that perfectly suits the great flexibility of the Paker machine. A perfect solution for multi-format applications, and without the constraint of format toolings.
